Here's a diagram that I created to help you
set up some after market lights.
***TIP: To figure out how your new turn signals connect to the factory wires on the Yamaha Bolt, use a standard 9V battery and simply connect the black wire from your new signals to the negative terminal and any of the colored wires (one at a time) to the positive terminal. Once your signals light up, you'll have a better idea of how to wire it in. Keep in mind that this test will not be at full brightness because the motorcycle battery is 12V.
